Welcome to The Nest – You can't beat this location in Carlton Landing! This charming 1 story 2-bed, 2-bath townhome is just steps from the Swim Beach, Boardwalk, Pop-Up Shops, Mama Tig’s, and Festival Lawn. Ideal for up to 5 guests but can comfortably sleep up to 7. Plus a screened-in porch, a paddle board and 2 kayaks for guests to use, and 1 reserved parking spot.

Good to know

Primary Suite: The large primary bedroom has a king bed, TV on the wall, ceiling fan, bedside table fan, sound machine and room-darkening curtains. There's an en-suite bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks. There's also a closet off the bedroom that includes a pack-n-play (but you'll need to bring your own pack-n-play sheet), a safe, and a dresser. Second Bedroom: This bedroom includes a queen bed plus a twin bed, a ceiling fan, bedside table fan, sound machine, and room-darkening curtains . There's an attached closet that has a dresser inside as well as toys and books for little ones. The second bathroom is off the hallway, but also connects to the second bedroom by a pocket door. Living room Sofa Bed: The blue sofa is a memory foam queen pull out bed. Accessibility Note: Our home is not ADA compliant. However, it may be a good option for guests with limited mobility since it is a single-level unit with no stairs between our parking spot and the front door. Please note: there is a small threshold step at the entry and a threshold step to enter the primary suite shower.

Additional Amenities: We include the use of 2 single kayaks and an inflatable paddle board. We also provide lifejackets in various sizes. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you need. We include both a Keurig and full sized coffee pot, k-cups and ground coffee. The bathrooms include blow dryers, makeup towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We also provide pool towels. Also included are board games, puzzles, pickleball paddles, a volleyball and basketball, 2 beach chairs, and a few pool toys. TOWN AMENITIES: Here's a list of town amenities included with your stay: -3 community pools (pools are not heated and open seasonally) -Hot tub that's open year round -Pickleball and basketball courts - 2 playgrounds -walking trail -town beach -ping pong tables - bocce ball -community fire pits -grills - dock access if you want to bring fishing poles -pop-up shops (seasonal) - movies and games on the lawn (seasonal) -food trucks There's a marina in town where you can rent boats, or rent a boat slip (limited availability) to bring your own boat. Other items you can rent or book in Carlton Landing: - Aqua Park -Floating cabanas - Bike Rentals - Golf Carts ** Some of our guests opt to rent a golf cart and park it in our 1 included parking spot, however the beauty of our location is that almost everything is very close by!

We loved staying at Katy’s place! It felt really cozy for us and is very well-stocked and clean. The location is hard to beat! Katy was also very responsive to all my questions. 10/10 would stay here again!

We live in Dallas and wanted to find some lakes within driving distance so we’ve tried a few other lakes this summer and Carlton Landing might be one of our favorites! It’s such a unique and beautiful place! Katy’s home is really beautiful and comfortable. She has thought of everything for your stay. Ps. Definitely rent a golf cart when you stay! Makes the trip even more fun!

We enjoyed staying at The Nest. Katy was very good in communication and help. We had internet issues but she was quick in responding and made sure the issue was resolved in a timely manner. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was stylish and cozy. The location is perfectly located to be near the middle of all events and shopping. We had a great stay at The Nest! The home was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy Carlton Landing. The pool towels and life jackets really came in handy. And the kid’s toys and games were a nice bonus! It was in a perfect, walkable location and the host was really responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The Nest is such a gem! We took our first family vacation with our toddler and had the best time! Katy and Devin were responsive, kind, helpful, superb hosts. The Nest is GORGEOUS - I need them to decorate my home pronto. They included so many thoughtful touches that made our stay much easier and like a home away from home - chargers throughout, plenty of towels and makeup cloths, a well-stocked kitchen, pack n play, noise machines, and transom covers to help darken the bedrooms. Their guest guide was excellent, making it easy to acclimate to Carlton Landing and make the most of our stay. The location is ideal - steps away from some of the best amenities Carlton Landing has to offer, and right off the boardwalk (which was our toddler’s favorite place to run and explore - stress free for us parents!). I can’t say enough positive things about our time at The Nest. We hope to return!

We will be back. Amazing host. They provided snacks and the place was so beautifully decorated and clean. We loved the bird scavenger hunt. The details of this place were amazing. They even had kid toys in a closet and outside. Well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the fans in closets in case we needed. We loved that the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of toilet paper, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Perfect location. Extremely cozy and you can truly REST at THE NEST! We will be back. 10 stars.

The Nest was a wonderful place for our family to stay at. It is walkable to the lake, pool, and other amenities. Katy was quick and responsive if we had questions and was extremely accommodating. We will definitely be back to enjoy Carlton Landing during peak months and can't wait for a future visit.
